Changed my smile!
I went in to get my teeth straight and got veneers, now everything is beautiful! What a great dentist!
Porcelain veneers are a way of altering the shape and shade of teeth to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Veneers are a procedure which can immediately change a person’s smile within two weeks’ time. They close spaces and gaps that patients would normally have to wait nine months for, with orthodontic treatment. Veneers work in two ways; to straighten and align teeth, and to change the shape and color to make teeth brighter and whiter. Orthodontics can’t do this.I’ve been doing porcelain veneers for as long as I’ve been in the industry, which is about 18 years now. Cases that work best are where you don’t necessarily have to change the bite of a person, but more or less their appearance. Veneers can benefit patients who need space between teeth closed, and for teeth that are crowded or turned incorrectly. They align the teeth.A Patient’s First Visit
My staff is kind and cordial and offer a drink if the patient is thirsty. We offer a very comfortable atmosphere, and shy away from the clinical type of appearance. When you walk into our office, it’s like walking into comfortable living room or family room. We use soft earth tones to stay far away from the white hospital and clinical feel. We understand that the patient is already apprehensive and when they come into the office, we want to add a feeling of comfort. We create a welcoming environment with the décor that includes comfortable chairs, a television, and plants. But it’s mostly our staff that adds to the feel, by getting to know you and treating you like family. I tell my patients that when I’m working on them, I treat them the same way as I would a family member; my son, daughter, mom, dad or other relative. Our goal is to make patients feel warm and welcome.Benefits of Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers can completely change your smile in a little more than two weeks. They can take a person from someone who’s got badly decayed, brown, inverted, misaligned teeth, to a person who almost instantly has a new appearance and outlook on life.
I had a patient who had decayed anterior teeth which were not shaped correctly, had decay, and weren’t aligned. We did veneers on him, and now he smiles from ear to ear. He hadn’t smiled in 25 years. It’s more or less a life changing experience.
